We have had a fabulous time at this lovely cottage. A great location and beautiful views. We have visited Cardigan , St. David’s town and Cathedral, Poppit Sands and also booked the onsite BBQ Lodge. Our time here was special and will be treasured.

Everything was perfect. Alison and Steve could not have been anymore attentive. They had the room set up with balloons and banners for my boyfriends surprise birthday. The hot tub was lovely and warm. The BBQ hut was amazing. And to top it off, our car broke down when we got there, the help, and the dropping us around here and there. Thank you both again for your help this weekend! We couldn’t of asked for anything better! We will definitely be back, and we hope your business just keeps blossoming, as you both are 2 wonderful people! Thank you.

We have found our new holiday destination! Beautiful cottage, well equipped with everything needed. Thank you for setting up the Welsh Cream Tea for my husband’s birthday – it was delicious – and the welcome sign made it all the more special. Alison and Steve are wonderful hosts and so friendly. Fresh eggs and milk were a treat.

Our stay was amazing, nothing was to much to make our little ones happy and the hosts were always on hand to let the feed the donkeys. The hot tub was always warm when we needed it and Alison was on hand to give us recommendations in the area! The highlight of our trip was the BBQ hut to hire on site – we hired it for the Saturday evening and we were presented with the most beautiful and delicious afternoon tea provided by the establishment, with hiring the hut and it was a great end to our rainy day, the children thoroughly enjoyed it too! We are already looking to re book with Blaencwm cottages for June/July time the whole area was beautiful and great hosts!

Setting was beautiful, particularly enjoyed having Hettie and Dudley (The Donkeys!) on site. Found Alison and Steve very hospitable, genuine kind people, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at their cottage and look forward to returning.
The West Family – Y Frenni Fawr (Nov 2022)
We stayed at Y Frenni Fawr in early November 2022. The property is in a lovely setting, really peaceful and ideally located for exploring Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. We stayed a couple of years prior when it was under different ownership, and although it was lovely then, the new owners Steve and Alison have pushed the property to another level – it’s now extremely clean and tidy, has a modern heating system and has been decorated and freshened up really nicely. Steve and Alison were exemplary hosts, communication was great and you got the impression that nothing was too much trouble for them and they were on hand to help with anything if required. I understand they are looking to make further improvements to the property over the coming months and we’d definitely go back to Y Frenni Fawr in future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pod was beautifully decorated and equipped and very clean. The hospitality was fabulous, we couldn’t have hoped for more. Lighting the amazing hot tub for us every day so it was ready for us in the evenings after our long days exploring. Perfect for star gazing. Highly recommended.

Brilliant luxury wood hot tub surprised us – we really enjoyed it and felt relaxed. Thank you Alison for the birthday cake you made for our son – it was delicious and the decorations were lovely. The glamping pod (Ty Cnocell) was comfortable, clean and warm with some lovely attractions nearby. We stayed in the pod in October and found we didn’t need to use the heater as it was still so warm inside! The hosts were very welcoming and provided extra bedding for our boys and little extras like cake, milk, a pumpkin and Halloween treats for the boys. We highly recommend the Three Horseshoes pub in Cenarth nearby, we had a delicious dinner there. Also Crwst in Cardigan for breakfast was fabulous.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Alison and Steve for a lovely week in your holiday cottage, Y Beudy. We couldn’t fault the cottage and our dog Joe also loved it. There is plenty of space for doggie friends without worrying or being anxious. The cottage was perfect for two people with all your needs catered for – the bonus being the sauna after those long coastal walks. Steve and Alison were the perfect hosts determined to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Thanks again for a lovely week, in such a beautiful and peaceful area – I’m sure we will be returning at some point in the future.
