We (Alison and Steve) have recently arrived at Blaencwm and are really looking forward to making this lovely area our home. We both hail from Surrey originally and have always dreamed of an “Escape to the Country” and Blaencwm is the perfect place to do that for us and for our guests alike.
This lovely smallholding near Cardigan, is set in 4 acres and situated in an idyllic rural location with lovely views over open fields and the Preseli Hills. Y Beudy is a delightful cottage for quiet relaxation and is one of our two holiday cottages located on the smallholding. Y Frenni Fawr is a spacious house and is one of our two holiday cottages located on the smallholding – both of which are dog friendly, with their own enclosed gardens. We also have a quaint and cosy glamping pod, Ty Cnocell – sadly, no pets are allowed in the pod, as it is very close to our resident ducks and our newly arrived donkeys Hettie and Dudley.
Both cottages have achieved a 4 Star Rating from Visit Wales and our glamping Pod, Ty Cnocell, has been rated as "Quality Assured".
There are many attractions in the locality, beaches, castles, a coastal path and even a couple of breweries. Mwnt beach one of Europe’s top ten “loveliest hidden beaches” is just 11 miles away. The area is ideal for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. From New Quay (a fifteen minute drive) take a boat trip to see bottlenose dolphins and seals. Nearby Cardigan offers a wide range of shops, eating places, a theatre and cinema. Further afield, there are many other attractions and resorts to entertain the whole family.
