Blaencwm is situated in a beautifully unspoilt area about 5 miles from Cardigan town and the coast. The two cottages are surrounded by fields with panoramic views of the Preseli hills.
Each cottage is tastefully decorated to ensure that you have homely and relaxing holiday and they have their own secure gardens for children and dogs to play in. We recommend that you put “Blaencwm Cottages” into your Sat Nav/Google Maps, rather than our postcode, and this will bring you directly to our door. Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10.30am ((unless an earlier/later time is agreed with us in advance).
Directions from M4 (about 45 minutes)
At end of the motorway follow the A48 to Carmarthen then join the A40 to St Clears (and then Haverfordwest). Stay on the A40 and after passing through the village of Llanddewi Velfrey at the next roundabout take the A478 signposted Cardigan. (Please note that Google Maps will probably try to take you a more winding road route, but this is the most direct route). Follow this road and pass through the village of Crymych then approx. 2 miles further you will enter the village of Blaenffos.
About 500 yards after the sign for Blaenffos you will see a green and yellow sign for Blaencwm Cottages on the right hand side of the road. Turn into the lane and drive for a couple of hundred yards into our smallholding.
A land mark is Rhoslyn Stores on the left hand side of the road which is approx. 50 yards past our entrance.
Directions from Aberystwyth (about 50 minutes)
Follow A487 to Cardigan. Pass through Cardigan and keep on the A487 which crosses the River Teifi. At the next roundabout take first exit left onto the A478 signposted for Tenby. pass through the villages of Bridell and Rhos Hill and then into Blaenffos. About 1/2 mile into the village on your right hand side is a shop called Rhoslyn.
The green and yellow Blaencwm sign is about 50 yards past the shop on the left hand side. Turn into the lane and drive for a couple of hundred yards into our smallholding.
